One of the Directors of Software Engineering for Microsoft, Yitzhak, is the primary owner of the Power BI Service Platform. Yitzhak leads a team of 150+ engineers to ensure that the Power BI services are up and running at 99.99% of the time. You may ask, "Gee, how does Power BI ship all of these updates?" This is due to the excellent collaboration between the feature teams and Yitzhak's team and his leadership to build a stable and extensible platform.

For making sure that Power BI is 99.99% reliable, customers are getting high reliable service experiences, releasing new Premium capabilities, and making sure that the Power BI customer support experience is top in class.

Since the early days in his career, Yitzhak, was always around data and big data (even before the term was minted 😊). Yitzhak has been on the Power BI product from its day-1. Yitzhak worked tirelessly to deliver the iPhone app and Android offering (Phone/Tablet) for Power BI, Power BI Premium, and responsible for the overall Power BI Service Platform.

Yitzhak loves any outdoor activity, hiking, fishing, diving. Yitzhak even got certified as Advanced Open Water Diver in the Puget Sound, not the most tropical place ;)
