Nikola is officially Business Intelligence Developer, focusing on Microsoft Data Platform technologies, especially Power BI - but “off the record” he is a data fanatic, interested in everything related to extracting meaningful information from the raw data. Coming from the business environment, Nikola holds a Bachelor’s degrees in both Communicology and Software Engineering. He is regularly blogging on data-mozart.com and is also kicking-off his speaking career.

While Nikola doesn’t possess wisdom and experience of old Data Gods, his passion and curiosity are second to none. As a God of music and Data Mozart, he didn’t start to work with data when he was 5 years old, as Mozart started to compose, but he proclaims that data should be a music – not a noise! Therefore, he always tries to create symphony from seemingly messy data noises.

Nikola has multi-year experience working with various flavors of data, predominantly with Microsoft’s stack. Therefore, Nikola will write about SQL Server, T-SQL, SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, Power BI, Azure, etc. But, since Nikola is really curious by nature and always trying to learn something new, he will also consider writing about other data-related tools and techniques.
DATA GOD FUN FACT
As a true football (and Barca) fan, Nikola was always dreaming of playing at Camp Nou. He didn’t make it (so far), but he had visited stadium more than 20 times as a supporter. Nikola is also certified football referee.
