Remember Power View in Excel? At Microsoft, Gil was charged with the task of removing it from the ribbon and hide it from users. He was also responsible for bringing Power Query as a first-class citizen to Excel and realized that he had more fun blogging and data-wrangling than writing specs for the engineering team.
