Ben is a BI team leader and SSAS/PBI technical lead at MSC in Switzerland. Before joining MSC he was a BI consultant focusing mainly on Microsoft BI stack and the Azure platform. He loves DAX and statistics as a result he enjoys running DAX Statistics experimentations and blogs about it.
DATA GOD QUALIFICATIONS
Ben holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Intelligence and a Master’s degree in statistics. Ben started to blog a few years ago, many problems that he was solving in his day-to-day job were solved because of fellow bloggers and their great blogs so he decided that he wanted to contribute to the community and share with others and after a few years of blogging, he realized that sharing is also the best way for continuous learning.

Ben has spent quite a lot of time working with SSAS, first with multidimensional then with the tabular model, recently he's been focusing more on optimizing large model and slow DAX measures as well as automation using tabular editor. Ben started his career as an ETL developer, and he still loves to get his hands dirty from time to time.

Ben lives in a place surrounded by mountains when he's not geeking out you can find him hiking or kayaking but not skiing he's too afraid of speed!
